The Inn

Surrounded by stunning Yorkshire Wolds countryside and in close proximity to Hull, Beverley and the historic city of York, The Fox and Coney Inn provides an ideal base for business and exploring East Yorkshire. Set in the market town of South Cave, the 300 year old Grade II listed Fox and Coney, an Inn since 1731, subtly combines authentic period features and contemporary accommodation to help you enjoy your break in comfort.

All our cosy bedrooms are individually designed and feature boutique furnishings. Each room includes TV, free wifi and an en-suite bathroom as standard and guests can choose from a classic twin or double, a superior double or a family room.

Oozing character and steeped in history, The Fox and Coney Inn offers our guests a exceptional opportunity to enjoy an historic stay in a unique and luxurious pub.

The Pub

A modern day version of a country tavern, The Fox and Coney Inn offers outstanding food and cosy refuge from the elements in winter and a place to enjoy refreshments in the summer. With log fires burning at each end of the pub on cool days and a fabulous outside patio when the sun shines, the Fox is the perfect pause for locals and visitors all year round.

Dinners will enjoy traditional, freshly prepared pub classics in the restaurant and easy pub snacks in the bar. From pork belly bites to our famous mixed grill, the food is good honest pub food that celebrates the simple and charming flavours of Yorkshire.

Our food is unpretentious, the setting charming and the atmosphere relaxed.
